Friendly: Morocco’s Jayed Jalal to officiate Nigeria vs Ghana

Jayed Jalal has been appointed centre referee for the Super Eagles international friendly with the Black Stars of Ghana.
Jalal, a Moroccan, took part in the recent Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The 36-year-old will be assisted by compatriots Akarhad Mostafa (Assistant I), Brinsi Zakaria (Assistant II) and El Fariq Hamza (fourth official).

Nigeria and Ghana will renew their rivalry at their Grand Stade de Marrakech on Friday.
The two West African giants will clash for the first time since the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off in March 2022, when Ghana qualified at the expense of Nigeria after drawing 1-1 in Abuja following a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The encounter will kick off at 5 pm Nigerian time.
